Event readathon

Inspired by the 24-hour readathon fad that overtook YouTube in the 2010s, this event is all about readers coming together for a set period of time to read and document the whole experience on social media in real time. 

The brief:

  • Up to 30 readers.

  • Can focus on one or multiple books.

  • Our bloggers will follow a condensed version of our regular read along format, posting final reviews over the course of the following week.

  • Endless engagement opportunities.

  • Feeds FOMO.

  • Readers who already own the book we are promoting can join in the fun, creating maximum engagement at minimal cost to the publisher.

We recently ran a readathon with Transworld/ Bantam to promote the launch of their new dedicated horror imprint, 3am Books.
